Dinner of the Americas Thursday, April 26, 2007 The Fairmont Palliser – Alberta Room The Canadian Council of the Americas-Alberta invites you to its biannual Dinner of the Americas, a premier opportunity for Alberta companies to network with Canadian ambassadors based in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Latin American and Caribbean ambassadors in Ottawa
Register: 1:30 pm Roundtable Program: 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm Welcoming remarks will be made by The Honourable Guy Boutilier, Minister of International, Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Relations, Province of Alberta. Afterwards, participants will join the interactive program consisting of concurrent mini-roundtables hosted by each ambassador. Each participant will have the opportunity to take part in up to six - 15 minute discussions with ambassadors and fellow participants. Reception: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Dinner: 7:00 pm Deputy Mayor Gord Lowe, City of Calgary, will open the evening which will include a presentation by our keynote speaker Pablo Bréard, Vice President, Head of International Research for Scotiabank Group, entitled Integration in the Developing Americas: A Latin-Canadian Perspective.
