Alberta International, Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Relations (IIAR), Export Development Canada (EDC) and Industry Canada (IC) in collaboration with the Canadian Council for the Americas - Alberta (CCA-Alberta) would like to invite you to attend a breakfast presentation by International Purchasing representatives from Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) Houston office. PDVSA is a Houston based company contracting products and services under US corporate laws.

An official presentation on PDVSA -Houston's procurement procedures and opportunities for Canadian equipment and service companies will be given by:

PDVSA is the state-owned corporation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and is responsible for the efficient, profitable and dependable exploration, production, refining, transport and commerce of hydrocarbons. In 2006, more than a billion US dollars of contracts were handled out of the PDVSA-Houston office. From January to March 2007 the value of contracts already reached $650 Million US. PDVSA-Houston is looking to source equipment, products and services from international suppliers.
