FINANCING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE OIL & GAS SECTOR IN LATIN AMERICA
CCA-Alberta, in coordination with the Energy Industries and Services Branch of Alberta International, Intergovernmental and Aboriginal Relations (IIAR), presents a unique opportunity for companies interested in learning about specific cases and financing opportunities in Latin America with the Inter-American Development Bank.
Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) is a multilateral development bank engaged in promoting (among other initiatives) private sector projects in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). It has a wide range of financing products and longstanding relationships with governments in all LAC countries and extensive experience acquired by financing private sector projects. IADB is a prospective partner for exploration and production and oil and gas services companies, financial advisors and institutions pursuing projects in the oil and gas/petrochemical sectors.
Topics to be discussed during the presentation will include:
- Advantagesfor sponsors and borrowers to partner with the IADB
- Financing options for sourcing capitalneeds for projects in LAC
- Case studies of recent private sector deals in the oil and gas sector
- Investment climate in the oil and gas sectors in some target Latin American countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Peru
