CCA welcomes H. E. Ricardo Cisneros, El Salvador Ambassador to Canada.

Ambassador Cisneros will be in Calgary on September 7, 2022 at the Calgary Petroleum Club to discuss some topics of interest for the business community. The following topics are in the Ambassador's agenda.

About Ambassador Ricardo Cisneros

A career diplomat from El Salvador, since December 2020 he has held the position of Ambassador of El

Savior in Canada. Ambassador Cisneros has a diplomatic experience of 18 years with the following positions: Secretary in the Delegation to UNESCO, First Secretary to the European Union, Consul General in Ottawa

(Canada) and Milan (Italy), Counselor to the United Nations in Geneva and Minister Counselor in

France.

Between 2010 and 2020 he worked as an international diplomatic consultant promoting countries and

cities for candidacies to the Universal Expos; I accompany the candidacy committees of the

following cities: Astana 2017, Sao Paulo 2020, Minnesota 2023, Osaka 2025, Busan 2030,

Riyadh 2030.

Between 2015 and 2020 he was a professor at the ISCOM Paris communication school in the subjects of

Nation Branding, Place Marketing, Soft Power, Mega-events, Lobbying, Strategic marketing.

He obtained an international MBA specialized in the European Union and a Master in Research

Applied to Management (Applied Research in Management) both from La Sorbonne, Paris. I know

I specialize in marketing and particularly in 'Place Marketing' and 'Nation Branding'.

He speaks Spanish, French and English and a good level of Italian. Married, has two children. photographer and

saxophonist in his spare time.
